A player and coach’s perspective.
Collegiate scheduling, preparation and team operations give me practical insight into the support athletes and coaches need. I’d apply that perspective within LA28’s planning framework.

SPORT MANAGER, LACROSSE · A PERSONAL APPLICATION
A PERSONAL APPLICATION · LOS ANGELESLet’s talk
A game I’ve played.
A community I help build.
A moment I’d love to deliver.
Hi Roselle. I’ve applied to join LA28’s Sport team. I’d bring collegiate and grassroots lacrosse leadership, strong relationships on both coasts, and a career coordinating partners and projects through execution.
Explore the connectionI’ve spent the last three years coaching at Cal State Long Beach as defensive coordinator and assistant coach, contributing to player development, recruiting, scheduling and team operations.
In 2026, we won the program’s first SLC championship. I recently became head boys’ varsity lacrosse coach at Millikan High School in Long Beach, bringing that same commitment to preparation, standards and continuity.
My experience also includes clinics and instruction with Compton High School, Harlem Lacrosse and EZF.

I’ve run the Chiefs men’s league team since 2018.
Team organization. Player communication. Participation and competition. The relationships that keep an adult lacrosse community active.
I also manage finances for “The Longest Running Game” in El Segundo, a weekly men’s lacrosse game that has continued since 2008.
Sporting events need people who can coordinate people.
I’ve recruited event staff, managed paid staff and volunteers, coordinated officials, and led staff training and onboarding for sporting events.
Those responsibilities sit alongside my daily work coaching, organizing teams and maintaining relationships across the local game.
I bring a very strong East Coast and West Coast lacrosse network.
I played at Northeastern University and Imperial College London. Through playing, coaching, league leadership and community programs, I’ve built relationships with players, coaches and program leaders across both coasts.
For LA28, those relationships would be a starting point for engaging the local sport community and connecting with the people who can help support its Olympic return.

Rick is now a World Lacrosse board director and former chair of its Development Committee. Playing for him is part of the lacrosse background I bring to this opportunity.

This is a personal playing connection, not an endorsement.

Relationships built by being part of the game.
Alongside lacrosse, I’ve built a career coordinating brands, talent, executives, agencies and commercial stakeholders.
At GRTR, I manage partnerships and projects from initial brief through deliverables, approvals and activation. My experience includes client activations at VidCon and NFL All Day / Dapper Labs at Super Bowl LVI.
At 500 Startups and Moderne Ventures, I worked on corporate partner programs, founder events and demo days, bringing executives, sponsors, founders and internal teams together.

I’d bring that communication and project discipline to coordinating across LA28’s sport, venue, athlete, marketing and commercial functions.
The Coliseum sets the Olympic scene. Lacrosse’s competition venue is the adjacent Exposition Park Stadium.
Collegiate scheduling, preparation and team operations give me practical insight into the support athletes and coaches need. I’d apply that perspective within LA28’s planning framework.
Recruitment, staff and volunteer management, official coordination and onboarding would support building and leading the lacrosse competition workforce.
My lacrosse network and professional partnership experience would support local engagement and clear communication with external stakeholders.
League financial management and commercial project delivery would support sport-specific budget inputs, project tracking and status reporting.
Based on the LA28 Sport Manager, Lacrosse posting ↗. My direct lacrosse leadership is at club, collegiate and high school levels. Olympic delivery would be the next step, working closely with LA28 and World Lacrosse.
I’d develop this approach with the sport leadership team and World Lacrosse, grounded in existing decisions, priorities and timelines.
Understand World Lacrosse’s requirements, LA28’s existing plans, athlete needs and each functional team’s responsibilities. Build a stakeholder map, establish a communication rhythm and identify the most important dependencies.
Proposed outcome · A shared view of priorities, people and open questions.
Engage clubs, college programs and governing bodies to understand the sport workforce. Help translate staffing needs into clear roles, recruitment channels and onboarding priorities.
Proposed outcome · A practical workforce and community engagement plan.
Work with the team on schedules, equipment requirements, venue inputs and budget assumptions. Track commitments, owners and dependencies so progress and risks remain visible.
Proposed outcome · A usable delivery tracker aligned with the team’s planning process.

Lacrosse leadership.
Coast-to-coast relationships.
A commitment to getting the work done.
Based in Long Beach and ready to work with the Los Angeles team. I’d love to discuss how I can contribute to LA28.

Korn Ferry sets a high bar for the people it puts forward. I’d be proud to earn that trust, and I’d give this role my all to make you and the LA28 team proud of the choice.
